Beautiful bees

I'm loving this bee design that I created for my Spoonflower shop. Stylised bees sit on a coral pink geometric background, inspired by honeycomb design. 

It looks great on bedding and can be found on a lovely cotton sateen bee duvet cover which comes in three different sizes.

If the duvet cover is a bit too much, create a subtler feel with this bee sheet set. It comes with a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillow covers and is available in six sizes.

Scatter cushions are a great way of adding accents of colour to a room. This bee scatter cushion cover comes in a square shape but there are other shapes available too.

Throws blankets are practical for those colder nights but are also a nice way of adding colour to a room. This bee throw blanket comes in two fabric options, either a soft minky fabric or a rich velvet fabric.

This beautiful bee print is available in my Spoonflower shop on a variety of pleasing products for the home. Each bee print comes on a different coloured honeycomb-effect background. 

At the moment I think the pink bee print is my favourite.

It would look great as a bee duvet cover in a child's bedroom.

The blue bee print is clean and fresh.

It would look great as bee placemats for a summer party.

The yellow bee print is bright and fresh.

It looks great on this circular tablecloth and is perfect for making the kitchen feel sunny and bright.

The grey bee print is more muted and great as a subtle interiors shade.

It looks good on this bee throw blanket which comes in a soft minky fabric.

Busy bees

 We are getting busy with bees at Cheeky Leopard. I designed this bee print for my Spoonflower shop and recently had it printed onto a sturdy cotton fabric.

It has now been made up into a cotton pouch and is available to buy in my Etsy store.

The bag comes with a zipper closure and is fully lined using a black and white cotton polka dot fabric.

Use it as a handbag organiser or as a makeup pouch. I like to use mine as a gadget pouch for storing chargers etc whilst travelling.

Satin scarf

 I recently designed a print for one of the Spoonflower design challenges which was called Wild Grasses. I was inspired by the delicate grasses found in the countryside and included butterflies, dragonflies and bees amongst the foliage.

For this print, I used a background colour of teal with lighter tones of green and turquoise for the foliage and insects.

I've since had this design printed up onto a lovely satin fabric, perfect for making into decorative scarves.

The satin is lovely and soft and really brings out the colour of the print.

This scarf makes a great gift for someone special - it comes gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and an optional gift message can be added at the checkout. It can also be sent straight to its recipient.

Wild grasses home decor

 My wild grasses print looks fabulous on these home decor items and I'm so pleased with the outcome. Bees, butterflies and dragonflies buzz around the natural grasses on a soft teal ground.

The ready made curtain panel comes in a selection of lengths and you can choose between two thicknesses of canvas.

The cushion covers also come in a variety of sizes and fabric choices.

You can buy fabric by the yard and make your own creative project. I'm planning on buying this print on a satin fabric and creating some delicious clutch bags from it. Watch this space.

These napkins would look pretty on an al fresco dining table. You can also buy table runners and tablecloths in this print.

Why not create a statement wall with this wallpaper print? You could paint corresponding walls in a complimentary colour such as as the lighter teal of the butterflies.
