Time for tea

I recently designed this collection for Makower UK called Afternoon Tea. It was so much fun to design and I started out by drawing little sketches of the things I loved that relate to afternoon tea. Pretty flowers and sweet cakes are mixed with floral teacups and teapots.

The main print in this group includes teapots, teacups and cakes in a soft, sweet colour palette.

A pretty floral is the perfect addition to this collection. It also comes in a blue background and a cream background and makes a great co-ordinate to the main print.

The sweetest cherry print!

Cupakes in a sugary colour palette, covered in sweet icing and sprinkles.

Sweet treats

The latest Spoonflower design challenge is called 'Delicious Ditsy' and I couldn't resist creating this sweet treats print for it. I'm a cake-lover and these tasty morsels, with their pink icing na cherry on top are irresistible. A ditsy pattern usually has two characteristics - tiny and with a multi directional layout, which makes the very easy to use on a wide variety of craft projects. This print would be great for using for an afternoon tea table cloth or napkins, or for making into an apron for the baker in your life.
