Cyprus - day one

On Saturday, we spent the morning chilling by the pool and then cycled into Iskele for a late lunch. This small town is the settlement for Turkish Cypriots from Larnaca. On a hot Saturday afternoon it had a very quiet feel, but we found a fabulous restaurant selling the daily special of lamb koftas. In the evening we drove to the old walled city within Famagusta. We had a drink at a fabulous bar that was a converted hammam and sat outside listening to Turkish cool vibes. Then on to a Cypriot mezey meal which consisted of  hundreds of dips and enough meat to feed a family!
