Gingko glasses case

Pot plant paradise

Pot plants are the perfect addition to the home and I created this print for my Spoonflower shop, with the idea that it would be used on home decor such as bedding.

The pot plant print includes cheese plants, ferns and yuccas in various shapes and sizes. Each has a coloured pot and would make a great gift for a green fingered friend.

The print is perfect print for a duvet cover. This one comes in three sizes and is made from a cotton sateen fabric.

This stylised leaf print is a perfect co-ordinating print with the duvet cover. It's clean and fresh and adds a nice touch to the bedroom.

This sheet set comes in five sizes and includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and two pillow cases.

 

Unicorn forest

 I created this design recently for my Spoonflower shop and decided to call it Unicorn Forest. Stylised trees surround jaunty unicorns that have been created in a stylised folk style and it uses a simple, fresh blue and white colour palette.

The unicorn print looks great on this sheet set and adds a touch of quirkiness to the bedroom, especially for a kid's bedroom. It includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillow cases. Available in six different sizes to cater to all needs!

I had so much fun designing this unicorn print that I decided to colour up other prints in my shop to match it. I have a lot of leaf prints on offer and this stylised leaf print was my first choice. It includes oak leaves, gingko leaves and sycamore leaves in tones of blue and white.

The leaf print would look great on bedding such as duvet covers. This pretty leaf print duvet cover is made from a cotton sateen fabric and comes in three different sizes.

I've also created a fern print in the same colour palette which includes varying shades of the same blue colour. The print is multi-directional which means it could be used for a number of different household items.

The fern print looks great on curtains for the home and would be a great addition to the bedroom. These come in three different lengths and are available in two different cotton canvas fabrics.

Autumn botanicals tableware

 I'm loving this autumn botanical print that I designed a while ago. The rich teal background sets off the colour palette of coral and mustard and I've included decorative leaves such as oak leaves and acorn leaves amongst mushrooms, berries and acorns.

This print looks great on a variety of tableware options, available in my Spoonflower shop. And it's a perfect way of elevating an autumnal dinner party.

The napkins come in two sizes (cocktail napkins and dinner napkins) and are made from a cotton sateen fabric. The cocktail napkins come as a set of four, the dinner napkins come as a set of two.

The placemats are hemmed, topstitched and come with mitred corners. They are available in two types of cotton canvas fabric or in a cotton sateen fabric.

The tablecloths come as a rectangle, square or oval shape and each shape has a variety of sizes. These are made from a wide cotton sateen fabric.

The table runners come in three size options and are also made from cotton sateen.

Luscious leaves

This scrumptious tea towel was recently added to my Etsy shop. It's made from a fabulous tropical leaf print on a soft pink background and makes a great addition to the kitchen.

The lovely thick linen cotton canvas fabric makes it durable and easy to use and adds a splash of colour and personality to your kitchen.

Use this tropical leaf tea towel for dish drying or for keeping hands dry. Alternatively hang it on the wall and use it as a piece of artwork to brighten the room.

This tea towel has a folded, top stitched hem and have the iconic Cheeky Leopard label attached.

Autumn botanicals

 Autumn is well and truly upon us and I'm celebrating this special time of year with these rather fabulous autumn botanical prints, available in my Spoonflower shop.

I love the deep teal background of this leaf print and the mix of coral, mustard and turquoise leaves. This print would look great as a wallpaper print and can be found on on a variety of leaf print wallpapers in my Spoonflower shop.

This print also looks great on a cream background which brings out the colours of the leaves.

It comes on variety of products in my Spoonflower shop, including leaf scatter cushions in various sizes. It would make a great Thanksgiving gift.

May favourite colourway is this one on a deep brown background. It's a lovely rich colour and really brings out the vibrant colour of the leaves.

It makes a great addition to a Thanksgiving table and can be found on leaf placemats, leaf tablecloths and leaf napkins.

Gingko coin purse

 When I lived in Japan, I loved the gingko season, when the leaves of the gingko trees turned a stunning yellow colour. This coin purse is made from a gingko leaf fabric, and comes in a stunning shade of red.

This purse could also be used as a mini cosmetic bag. It's big enough to fit lipstick, blusher, mascara and eyeshadow and the vibrant colour makes it easy to find in your bag.

The purse is lightly padded, fully lined in an orange cotton fabric and has a red zipper closure.

This pouch could also be used as an earbud case.

Japanese maple leaves

 Every now and then I dip into the drawing challenges set by @ellolovey on Instagram. I really enjoyed creating this challenge a while ago which was 'maple'. I decided to use Japanese maple leaves as my inspiration and created a selection of stylised leaves in a rich colour palette. It looks great as a repeat pattern and is now available to buy by-the-metre in my Spoonflower shop.

Each leaf contains at least two tones of the same colour and includes simple pattern detail.

This print looks great on a scatter cushion, available in various sizes in my Spoonflower shop.

It also looks great on a throw which can be bought on minky fabric or on performance velvet, which really brings out the colour of the leaves.

Matisse-inspired artwork

 I thought I'd try my hand at a Matisse-inspired print and I'm really pleased with the outcome! I wanted to give the feel of cut paper shapes and kept it really loose in style. I've included leaf shapes as well as circles and created a layered effect on a teal background.

This print is now available in my Redbubble shop on a variety of different products. My favourite piece is this wood mounted artwork which comes in a choice of three sizes.

This wood print is easy to hang and appears to float in front of the wall. It is printed onto 1/4" thick birch plywood and has rounded corners. What I love about this piece is that the wood grain is visible through the print.

Joyful Jungle

A recent Spoonflower design challenge was called Joyful Jungle and I submitted this rather fabulous leafy print. The black background adds to the drama and it's got a marvellous moody feel to it.

This print would look great as a wallpaper print where you can truly immerse yourself in a tropical wonderland. It looks great with this green velvet sofa.

This print would also look great as a lampshade. I love the copper lining which adds warmth and drama.

And I recently drew this illustration for a drawing challenge with The Tuesday Collective on Instagram. I love this print used as a skirt design and it coordinates so well with the leather jacket.

I recently tried a new colouring for my woodland woodblock leaf print and am loving the teal and chartreuse colour combo.
