Elephant glasses case

This is a review I got from a happy customer recently. I love this elephant glasses case. It's made from a sweet blue, green and white cotton novelty elephant print.

I've matched the lining of the glasses case to the green colour in the elephant print, you can find it in some of the elephants bodies and in touches in their ears. Each elephant has a textured print in their body or a pretty pattern, like stars and hearts.

The elephant glasses case is fully lined to protect your glasses and is also lightly padded. It's made from 100% cotton so machine washable too.

There is also a matching elephant zipper pouch, which is perfect for using as a makeup bag or gadget pouch. The fun, bright print of these items makes them easy to find in your bag.

This makes a great gift for an elephant lover. All items are gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and can be set straight to their recipient with an optional gift message included.

Elephant wall art

 I love an elephant design and so I decided to create these cute prints for my Etsy store. Each one is printed onto a lovely thick watercolour paper, gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and sent in a hard-backed envelope. You can also add an optional gift message and have it sent directly to its recipient if you wish. These prints would make a great print for a baby's bedroom wall.

Cute, decorated elephants in shades of pink, yellow and blue march in single file. Some are carrying parasols, some are carrying heart-shaped balloons.

Elephants everywhere

 I had a lot of fun designing this collection of elephant prints for my Spoonflower shop! Each print has been coloured to co-ordinate with each other and they come in a selection of background colours and scales.

Decorated elephants each hold an item or are wearing an accessory - party hats balloons, a parasol and some even have a little crown on their head.

These elephants are smaller scale and each has a different coloured polka dot ear.

Cute florals in a pared-down colour palette tie in colour-wise with the elephant designs.

A dark slate blue background brings out the colours of these elephants.

Yellow is a happy colour and great for a gender-neutral baby's room.

This pretty floral could be used for baby's nursery or would make a great little summer dress.

A bold pink ground brings drama to a colour scheme.

This slate blue ground adds drama to a sweet floral print.

Decorated pink elephants spew an array of flowers from their trunks. These same flowers are used in the allover floral print above.

We've been getting crafty here at Cheeky Leopard and now have a new addition to the Cheeky Leopard family - tissue cases! I've been playing with some fun fabric combinations and have rustled up a few cute cases to store tissues. Note the contrasting lining on each one that gives it a pop of extra colour. Anyone who knows Cheeky Leopard knows that we like a good cat print.

The two below are both quite quirky but sweet and are two fabrics I picked up when I was in Tokyo.

I also love a simplified animal prints in bold colours and the two below fit the description perfectly.

Nautical prints are fab and I love this navy anchor on a red and white striped ground.

Fabric Friday

It's Fabric Friday time and today I decided to make a trip to the Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia as I needed a bit of a fabric fix! It's a great show for getting inspiration for new designs and seeing what's out there, and I also saw a lot of designs that I had worked on for Makower. Of course, the main reason for going to the show was to stock up on fabrics, and that's what I did! I'd obviously had a bit of a barren phase fabric-wise as I ended up coming home with a rather large selection. Here's a little taster.

My favourite stall there is The Eternal Maker, a mother and daughter run store based on the South coast of England. They specialise in unique and quirky fabrics as well as stocking haberdashery, notions, paper crafts and buttons.

 I loved their selection of animal prints, especially the birds and foxes.

 Yellows are very popular right now and these ones are lovely and fresh.

  I couldn't resist the quirky cat heads and will make it up into a cosmetic bag with the yellow geo as a contrasting lining. A little project for the weekend perhaps?

I really liked the subtle gold on these three geometric designs and may incorporate them into a clutch bag design.
