Mexico City is notoriously bad for getting around in traffic so we spent a lot of time on Saturday afternoon walking around the main areas. Lee is a fabulous tour guide and we feel like baby chicks following him around! We’d be lost without him. We passed the cinema that was featured in the brilliant film Roma, and even came across a protest. We were very aware of the protesters smoking pot! And it soon dawned on us that they were protesting the legalisation of marijuana! Naturally they were very chilled out and it was really interesting to watch. After that we walked down Reformer, one of the main roads in the city. I’m still amazed at how green the city is, with trees and plants everywhere.
