I recently discovered these "Wobbly Bowls", sold through Roost living and notonthehighstreet.com, which are hand thrown by Mizuyo Yamashita, a Japanese woman living in London. I immediately loved their randomness, but also the rather Japanese aesthetic to them with their delicate quality as well as their nod to wabi-sabi - the Japanese idea of accepting beauty that is imperfect. These beautiful bowls come in an aqua blue colourway or a dusty pink and make a lovely, delicate present.
