A sunny day like today definitely called for a stroll along the river and my parents kindly partook. The riverside at Richmond really is lovely and we decided to head for Petersham Nurseries, a beautiful garden centre/cafe/restaurant hidden off the river Thames and an oasis for plant lovers and coffee lovers/foodies alike. The nursery is beautifully styled, with delicate Italiante coloured glass mixed in with fab lace-up wellies, and every kind of tasteful gardening implement you can think of. Everything seems to work so well together. It's also a great place to grab a big pot of coffee and sit under the shaded cafe area, soaking up the atmosphere and dreaming of having a beautiful garden some day........
