Leopard lover card case

As a leopard lover myself, I couldn't resist this fabulous fabric and have made it into an unforgettable card case that any leopard lover could not resist.

Pretty pink leopards strut in rows on a soft turquoise blue background,

The card case is fully lined and padded and has two pockets that fit up to four cards each. It's great for using as a business card case, travel card case or credit card case.

This card case makes a great gift for a leopard lover. Items are wrapped in pink tissue paper and are sent out in a padded envelope. You can also have an additional gift message enclosed which means it can be sent straight to its recipient.

London Lover

I'm a London lass and although I've lived abroad for many years, I love London town. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make the most of it during these strange times and I can't wait to get back to going to galleries and visiting museums. In the meantime I'm celebrating London through my Cheeky leopard products! My London face masks have been very popular and I now have a matching London travel card case to go with it. This case is softly padded and can also be used as a credit card case or business card case.

There's not mushroom in here....

....just enough room for this lovely little mushroom combo! It consists of a coin purse and a card case made from a fab purple and pink mushroom fabric.

The coin purse is big enough to fit small change or can be used as a headphone case.

Each item has a bright pink and white polka dot lining that matches the pattern on the mushrooms.

The card case can be used for credit cards, business cards or as a travel card holder.

You can find both items in my store here.

Still going!

The Boston Terrier fabric is still going strong! Each time an item is sold, I replenish my stocks and the most recent addition is this card case which has a fab new lining, made of a fabulous grey and black cotton dog bone fabric! You can find it in my store here.

The bulldogs are back!

The French Bulldogs (or Boston Terriers if you're in the States) are back in full force!
It's been a popular item and I've been busy replenishing my stock by making a cosmetic bag, coin purse, card case, tissue holder and glasses case in this fabulous fabric. It comes in a heavyweight cotton with a fab mustard yellow and cream polka dot background, with outline images of the bulldogs in several poses.

The cosmetic bag has a large black and white polka dot lining and is a great size for storing makeup or gadgets. It could also be used as a handbag organiser or pencil case.

The card case also has the large black and white polka dot lining and
could be used for storing credit cards, business cards or travel cards.

The coin purse is so cute! Who could resist those puppy dog eyes?

The tissue holder is a fun way to store tissues in your bag and
the bright colour makes it easier to find.

The glasses case is softly padded and ideal for storing large sunglasses in.

You can find them all in my store here.

Going dotty!

I love a good spot, and couldn't resist this green and pink one. It makes your eyes go funny, but it also makes quite a statement!

This card case holds up to about 8 credit cards, but can also be used for business cards or travel cards.

New business cards

I recently redesigned my business cards and had them printed by Moo.com
I have just received them and I'm so happy!

On the front I chose to keep it simple and used the iconic pink and yellow Cheeky Leopard colours.

On the back I chose a juicy photo of some Cheeky Leopard clutch bags.

The cards look great in one of my new card holders!

Snip snip!

I've been really enjoying making my card cases and now have a little stash that I will be adding to my Etsy store over the next few days. I love mixing up combinations of fabrics and finding fun prints that work together. The latest is this little number, made from a red and cream scissor fabric mixed with a multi stripe, and a green and cream polka dot lining. The case can fit up to 8 cards and can be used as a credit card, travel card or business card case.

You can find it in my Etsy store here. Watch this space for more additions!

How to make a credit card case

I've been meaning to make a credit card holder for a while now and at the weekend I gave it a go. I have to say, I'm quite happy with the results and it's a great way to use up left over pieces of fabric.

Start by cutting out a front, a back and padding ( 3.5" x 9"), and two pockets (3.5" x 4"), all with rounded corners. For the front I used two pieces of fabric that I liked - a bear fabric mixed with a bike wheel fabric…..

Iron over the top edge of each pocket twice and top stitch them.

Pin the pockets to the lining fabric, then pin to the outer fabric, right sides together. The padding is also attached so that it is on the wrong side of the outer fabric.

Sew round the whole thing, leaving a small gap. This is to enable you to turn the case the right side out. Turn it the right way and give it a good iron, making sure all the corners are nicely turned out.

Once it is ironed, you can sew the top stitching round the outside edge. This is to make the case nice and flat, but also to close up the gap.

Here is the finished result! You can find it on my Etsy store here.
