Haberdashery heaven

Here's something for all those sewing addicts out there (I know I'm one of them) - a handy haberdashery pouch! I'm always looking for the scissors, sewing thread or needles, so decided to design a special pouch to keep all the sewing essentials in one handy place. I also like to sew whilst watching the TV, so it's great to have a mobile set of 'tools' with me that I can carry around. These pouches are big enough to fit needle, thread, pins, tape measure and a small pair of scissors.

You can find them in my store here.

This pouch is made from a bright tape measure print and has a yellow and white polka dot lining.

I love this graphic black and white scissor print and it has a fun grey and cream button print lining.

These pouches can also be used as cosmetic bags, handbag organisers or gadget pouch.

Snip snip!

I've been really enjoying making my card cases and now have a little stash that I will be adding to my Etsy store over the next few days. I love mixing up combinations of fabrics and finding fun prints that work together. The latest is this little number, made from a red and cream scissor fabric mixed with a multi stripe, and a green and cream polka dot lining. The case can fit up to 8 cards and can be used as a credit card, travel card or business card case.

You can find it in my Etsy store here. Watch this space for more additions!

Scissors please!

My glasses cases have proven to be quite popular and they are really fun to make. I like mixing the outer fabric with an interesting lining. This one would make a perfect gift for someone who likes sewing and it has a green and cream polka dot lining.

You can find it here.
