Come on England!

I'm afraid I know nothing about football, but I do know that the World Cup is on and I do know that England is playing tonight. I thought I'd celebrate with this Union Jack tote bag. Check out the red and white crown lining!

You can find it in my Etsy store here.

Auntie Mims

With the start of the Olympics just around the corner, Olympic fever is building to a crescendo.

I just came across this lovely little dress on Etsy and it's made with the fabric that I designed for Makower UK! It's so lovely seeing it made up into a cute little item like this, which can be found on the Etsy shop Auntie Mims here.

To check out more fabrics by Makower UK, you can see their website here.

Goodbye London

A few weeks ago I wrote about a 'London' design group I'd worked on for Makower UK

Since then, I have made some of the fabrics up into coin purses and a cosmetic bag and here are the results! I'm pretty happy with them all and am looking forward to making up more in time for the Jubilee and Olympics that will both be happening in London this summer. After a fab few weeks in London, I am heading back to Tokyo tomorrow, so will be watching all the events from afar.

You can find the purses on my Etsy store here.

Keep Calm And Carry On

Well, the big day has arrived! Yes, William and Kate are finally tying the knot, and I have to say, I'm quite relieved that I am witnessing it all from afar. I can only imagine the feeling of mass hysteria that has engulfed Britain, either that, or there is a distinct lack of interest.....

Anyway, I'll be watching it at 7pm this evening on BBC World, waving my flag and sipping tea, followed by a big glass of champagne. I found some fun Union Jack fashion items and thought I'd share them.
