London love

Feeling the London love with this London print I designed for my Spoonflower shop. It includes double decker buses, taxis and postboxes as well as an obligatory rain cloud - it wouldn't be London without the rainy weather!

Products include this London cushion cover. Covers come in a variety of sizes and are a great way of accessorising your living space.

Keep warm and cosy on a cold night with this soft minky London throw blanket.

Products include bedding, like this London sheet set with matching pillow cases.

And if you really love London, why not add this London duvet cover too?!

London love

Celebrate the King's Coronation with this cute little London gift bag set, made from London fabric that I designed for Makower UK. The set includes three cotton drawstring bags in varying sizes, perfect for gifting toiletries or jewellery in. They are washable and reusable too!

The largest London gift bag is perfect for gifting toiletries.

The drawstring is made from a red grosgrain ribbon and can be tied securely to keep its contents safe.

The medium London gift bag is great for gifting items such as perfume.

The small London gift bag is great for gifting jewellery.

The London gift bags are wrapped in pink tissue paper and if they are being sent as a gift they can be sent straight to their recipient with an optional gift message included.

This is the original print I designed for Makower UK. It is all hand-drawn digitally and includes London buses, taxis, post boxes and even a good old cup of tea!

I love London

The London love continues with this cotton cosmetic bag depicting iconic images of London. Red buses and black taxis sit alongside London landmarks such as St Pauls and Tower Bridge and there's even a cup of tea! I designed this fabric print for Makower UK and it's so great to use my fabric designs on my Cheeky Leopard products.

This pouch is lightly padded and has a zipper closure to keep everything safe. Us it as a handbag organiser or as a travel bag. It could also be used as a cosmetic bag or pencil case.

The bag is fully lined with a bright red and white polka dot cotton fabric.

What's your favourite icon? My favourite is the big red London bus.

This would make a great gift for any London lover.

London love

I love London and I love these London prints that I've created for my Spoonflower shop.

The latest creation is this London 2022 calendar that can be used as a wallhanging or as a tea towel. The wallhanging comes with two wooden magnet hangers that work like a clamp and hold the hanging in place. The tea towel is printed onto a linen cotton canvas.

If you'd rather make your own London creations, you can buy a selection of London prints by the yard.

This brightly coloured London patchwork design includes Big Ben, London buses and traditional telephone boxes.

This London bus and taxi design uses bold images on a blue background.

This print includes a bowler hat and moustache, as well as rain clouds - it wouldn't be London without a little rain!

London calling

I love London! And I miss it too! Living in the suburbs means that I can regularly get into the centre and enjoy what it has to offer. During normal times I would try and get into London at least once a week to see an exhibition, see a show or try out some good food. But it's now been almost a year since I've been able to do any of that and it's so sad!

To celebrate London I have designed this fun little print, using iconic images.
Each image was hand drawn on the computer using a soft, modern colour palette.

Each print comes on a lovely thick watercolour paper and is sent in a hard-backed A4 envelope.

Auntie Mims

With the start of the Olympics just around the corner, Olympic fever is building to a crescendo.

I just came across this lovely little dress on Etsy and it's made with the fabric that I designed for Makower UK! It's so lovely seeing it made up into a cute little item like this, which can be found on the Etsy shop Auntie Mims here.

To check out more fabrics by Makower UK, you can see their website here.

Goodbye London

A few weeks ago I wrote about a 'London' design group I'd worked on for Makower UK

Since then, I have made some of the fabrics up into coin purses and a cosmetic bag and here are the results! I'm pretty happy with them all and am looking forward to making up more in time for the Jubilee and Olympics that will both be happening in London this summer. After a fab few weeks in London, I am heading back to Tokyo tomorrow, so will be watching all the events from afar.

You can find the purses on my Etsy store here.
