Snail's pace

It's not often that I do custom orders here at Cheeky Leopard, but when I do, I love the fact that I am making them for a specific person in mind. This customer loved the snail tote I had in my store, but wanted slightly different dimensions. Luckily I still had some of the fabric in my stash - a fab black, turquoise and beige snail fabric that I bought in Tokyo - so I was able to make it up for her.

 The bag includes a large bottle pocket on the side that was requested by my customer.

The customer also requested a pocket on the front and back of the bag to store her phone and pens.

Mix and match

I've just made a tote bag to match the pink clutch I made the other day! I loved the soft pink obi fabric so much that I couldn't resist using it again and I'm so happy with the result. The tote is a lovely size and I've matched the obi fabric (that runs down the centre of the bag) with a modern cotton pink and black geometric fabric - the same fabric that I used for the lining on the clutch bag. This bag has a black and white decorative lining which makes a nice contrast to the outer fabric.

Darling dachshunds

At the weekend I had a bit of a sort out of my fabric stash and rediscovered this fab dachshund fabric. I got a bit busy and ended up with a tote, iPad sleeve and glasses case combo!
