Olula

Olula is a lovely selection of handmade products by Madrid-based designer Cristina. She prides herself in creating quality, durable items inspired by simple geometric forms and nature. I love the way that the items are all pulled together by a satisfying colour palette.

More quirkiness

For more quirky folk, check out these brooches by Dormouse Studio. They are the creations of North Carolina-based Sarah Pflasterer who describes her creations as wearable art. She has a formal background in illustration and design and much of her inspiration is derived from a fascination with fairy tales, folklore, nature and children's books. My favourite piece is the "Masked Girl" brooch, and you can see more of her beautiful work here.
