First port of call in a new city has to be brunch and Lee knows of a fab place in Roma called LALO. It’s a short walk from his place and consists of one large table down the centre of the room with a funky mural along one wall. We were given scrumptious pastries as a starter and then I chose chilaquiles which consists of tortilla chips and salsa verde, avocado, cream, cheese and cilantro with a fried egg on top. Heaven! We were even serenaded by a passing mariachi band!
