After a fab weekend in Paris, I caught the train down to Brive on Monday morning to meet my sister and her family. We were staying at the beautiful home of her husband's mum in a hamlet called Priezac, about half an hours drive from Brive and close to the Dordogne. The house is high up on a hill with beautiful views.
Most of the time we were there the weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the sun.
On Monday evening we went to a local village where there was a festival going on. We bought bbq trout and frites and ate them sitting next to the stream.
We then paddled through the stream to get back to the car. Much fun!

On Wednesday we went to a local lake for a dip and a lie on the sand.
We also had lots of fun in the pool at the house!

...and some stunning evenings.
