I was very lucky to briefly be involved with helping a lovely, inspiring woman called Nicole Berry to create some pieces of art for an installation in an upcoming event. She is an American photographer/stylist/artist now based in Tokyo and was commissioned to create pieces for a DJ event here in Tokyo. The pieces consist of many 'hairy' lampshades made from strips of paper that curl and create stunning organic hangings. I was responsible for cutting the strips of paper for the lampshades which she then attaches to a paper lantern using a glue gun and trims the ends as needed. She is also creating a series of cones, some of which you can see below from previous events.
The Rainbow Disco Club will be this sunday 5th May and should be a fab event. You can check it out here.
