I've been meaning to write about these lovely creatures since I did the Selvedge Fair a few weeks ago. My stand was next to 'cdbdi' a lovely company run by Vicky Light who creates beautiful handmade animals out of felt. She uses an amazingly complex technique to create high quality toys that children can keep for years. Each animal is made from Yorkshire wool that is knitted in Gloucestershire and then softly felted by Vicky at her home in London, to create a cuddly, long lasting finish.
