The Shiny Jane Company was set up by Jane Locke, a Dublin-based lass who is both a scientist and an artist. She creates beautifully simple felted jewellery pieces that she calls 'confectionery for your clothes'. She crafts pieces that evoke molecular-type constructions in pleasing color combinations, or the look of lichen clinging to a pebble. Even the simplest piece, a lozenge-shaped pebble brooch named 'minimalist brooch', has a cap of bright orange that makes it stand out from the crowd.
