I bought this piece of kimono silk recently and just love the "vintage pink" colour of it, with the cream blossom and the shot of hot coral colour in the flower beneath. I really want to make it into a clutch bag, but am so sad to cut it up. Having said that, it would look great with a hot coral lining....
The first of the plum blossom is starting to come out already (the first day of spring was officially 3rd Feb in Tokyo) and there was a beautiful plum blossom tree flowering in Shinjuku park on sunday. This could make a very inspiring set of designs.
