There was a heavy taste of rock and roll at the Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2014 show. I love the girly rock chick look and the nod to Blondie style. If only I lead that kind of lifestyle.......

Dries Van Noten
Paris Fashion Week has now started and I homed in on the Dries Van Noten show, mainly for its use of artisanal techniques, as well as its mix of rich fabrics and floral motifs. I love the barbed wire print on delicate floaty fabric, the multi-layered floral print dress and the mix of rich gold lace skirt mixed with a neatly tucked in black and white print shirt.

Milan Fashion Week - Alberta Feretti
Milan fashion week is now in full force. I love a bit of colour and was highly impressed with Alberta Ferreti's Spring 2014 ready-to-wear collection, which gave a heavy nod towards the folkloric look. She was inspired by Southern Italy, but it also has a South American aesthetic, with it's embroidered flowers and stunning colour palette.
