Blue bunting

Bunting is a fun way of decorating the home and I have a great selection of bunting in my Etsy shop. This bunting is made up for lego blocks mixed with a blue and white polka dot fabric.

Each flag is double-sided and made from 100% cotton, so machine washable too. It would make a great decoration for a party, or for a kid's bedroom.

The blocks print is made up of tones of blue with the odd cream block too.

This bunting is fun and bright. You can find more bunting in my Etsy shop here.

Scooter tissue holder

Chase way the winter sniffles with this fabulous little tissue holder. It's made from a scooter print in a fabulous shade of emerald green.

The bright colour means it's easy to find in your bag and it's fully lined in a navy blue and white cotton polka dot fabric.

This tissue holder makes a great 'get well soon' gift for a scooter lover.

You can find it in my Etsy shop here.

Fabric Friday

This Friday's fabric selection is showcasing what I have started making with some of the fabrics I bought at the Knitting and Stitching show a few weeks ago.

These fabrics were bought at the Eternal Maker stand and were bought as scrap bags. You never know what you are going to get in these surprise bags, but there is always a fun combination that you can piece together and they are the perfect size for my card cases.

I'm not sure about the headless bird, but I loved the colour combination of this Echino fabric and decided to mix it with a pink polka dot and a kettle fabric….

The frogs on this fabric are so sweet and remind me of emoticons.

Owls are still a popular motif and I'm mixing them with an apple fabric.

Elephants are always popular and why not put them with an aeroplane fabric?!

Last but not least, the be-spectacled stag fabric which is fab! This is another design by Echino, who do some gorgeous designs on thick cottons. This stag is being paired with a tree design.

All these fabrics are now waiting to be made up into card cases which you will be able to find in my store very soon! I love the mix of colours and each has a contrasting lining for a bit of fun when the case is opened. They can be used as credit card cases, business card cases or for travel cards.

Fave fabric Friday

This Friday's fabric is a lovely sunny cotton print. It's a modern Japanese fabric, designed using traditional motifs. I was drawn to it's lovely yellow colour and am going to make it into a coin purse, using a fun yellow and white polka dot lining.

Flock of birds

I just added this pretty bird print cosmetic bag to my Etsy store. I love the colour combination and decided to match the pink and white polka dot lining to the pink bird in the print.

You can find it on my Etys store here.

Polka dots

I love a good polka dot and think it can be beautifully classic. I was immediately drawn to this olive green and cream combo and decided to use a pretty green, purple and white decorative lining to compliment it. I also used a square frame instead of the usual slightly rounded ones, to give it a more classic shape. It is still called the Florence clasp bag - named after my lovely niece.

You can find it in my Etsy store here.

Pink and white geo

Talking of geometrics, I just added this vibrant pink and white geo cosmetic purse to my Etsy store. It has a matching coin purse/iPhone headphone case and is perfect for all the essentials for a mid-summer excursion. You can see it here.

In the navy

Yesterday I added these two cuties to my Etsy store. I love the oversized polka dots, mixed with the smaller polka dot of the lining and think these two purses would make a lovely combo. The ships wheel coin purse is big enough to fit small change, iPhone earbuds and keys. It can then slot into the polka dot handbag organiser, which can hold iPhone, sunglasses and cosmetics. All you need for a day in the sun!

Big enough for sunnies, phone and cosmetics.

A lovely little combo for all your summer essentials.

Call me!

I just added this cute little coin purse to my Etsy store. I love the colour combination, but also the retro telephone print and thought it would make a nice match with the retro camera print cosmetic bag.

You can find it here.
