Pretty patchwork clutch

 I have a great selection of clutch bags in my Etsy shop and this one is so much fun. It's made from a combination of Japanese cotton fabrics that I have patchworked together, using shades of pink, purple, green and yellow.

I use this as a clutch bag but it could be used for so many other things. It's great as a makeup bag. It's made from 100% cotton so machine washable.

Look up close and you can see all the different patterns I've used in the patchwork.

The zipper bag is light padded and lined in a cream cotton fabric. This could also be used as an iPad case.

It's the perfect size for a pencil case and big enough to fit a sketch book or notebook in for when those creative justice are flowing.

This makes a great gift idea for someone special. All items are gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and can be sent straight to their recipient with an optional gift message included.

50 Shades of Grey?!

Anyone who knows Cheeky Leopard knows that I love a bit of colour and most of my bags are pretty vibrant in hue. This is partly due to the fact that I wear so much black -  I feel I have to counteract it with a bright accessory, and the black really makes the colours stand out. 

I also understand that brights aren't for everyone, and so I have recently been playing with softer colours. These are the first two in softer shades to hit my store and I'm very pleased with them. Both items are constructed using strips of fabrics pieced together to create a lovely striped effect. Each piece of fabric used has a special quality. It could be a pretty weave, a gorgeous print or a silky feel and both are lined with a handwoven Japanese cotton fabric which mirrors the blue fabrics on the outside of each bag.

 Both bags have detachable chain handles to that they can be used as a handbag or a clutch.

 This clutch uses a stunning silver and grey tree motif which is woven into the cloth. I combined it with a navy blue silk and added a white and grey decorative silk on either side.

I prefer to use mine as a clutch rather than a handbag. 

I can tuck it neatly under my arm or hold it in my hand.

Summer clutch

The weather here in the UK is sublime (if a tad toasty at night time!) and all the summer clothes are coming out.  I'm celebrating the summer with this indigo patchwork clutch. Team it with a crisp white lace top, denim mini and silver flats and you're good to go.
