Sweet cherries

 This cherry print is the perfect print for a summer sewing project with its bright red, juicy cherries on a fresh green background. You can just imagine picking one up and popping it into your mouth.

Cute cherry purse

This is the cutest cherry purse!  It's made from a cotton fabric with tiny cherries on a bright green background and makes a great summer purse.

This cherry purse is great for using as a small makeup bag. It's machine washable so any spills can easily be washed away.

The lining of this cherry purse is a hot pink colour and is also made from cotton. The bag is lightly padded to protect its contents and there is a white zipper closure to keep everything safe.

This cherry purse could also be used as a handbag organiser or travel bag and it's a great place to store smaller items in your bag, so that they don't get lost. The bright colour means it's easy to find in your handbag.

Stone fruit

I recently drew these stone fruit prints as part of a drawing competition with @ellolovey on Instagram. I love participating in drawing challenges as it frees you up from work design constraints.

The plum design is on a pink background which enhances the beautiful deep colour of the skins. Some of the plums have been cut open to reveal the contrasting yellow flesh of the fruit.

Peaches are the perfect sunmer fruits and come in a variety of shades from deep pinks to light yellows. It was fun to design this print and I'm looking forward to making it into some items for my Etsy shop.

I put the cherries on a pink background to enhance their deep red colouring. The skins are lovely and shiny and look good enough to eat!
