I'm celebrating with this cute little bat print zipper purse. It's spookily spectacular!

The pouch is made from a 100% cotton fabric with a vibrant orange background. The bat print has been combined with a spiderweb print to give it an extra spooky feel.

The pouch is fully lined (machine washable) and has a light padding to protect its contents. There is a black zipper closure to keep everything safe.

This is the perfect pouch to store Halloween treats in. It could also be used as a pencil case or as a gadget pouch for storing chargers etc in.

I like to use this pouch as a handbag organiser. It's a great place to store all the smaller items in your bag and the bright colour means it's easy to find.

Brilliant bat purses

These brilliant bat purses are made from the fabric design I created for my Spoonflower shop. They come in four different colours and make a great Halloween gift. 

This is the blue bat purse.

It comes with a black lining and matching black zipper closure and is a great place to stash your trick or treat sweet treats.

The orange bat purse is a traditional Halloween colour.

It's lightly padded and perfect for using as a handbag organiser.

The purple bat purse is a great gift for a goth.

Use it as a gadget pouch or makeup bag.

It makes a great travel bag, where you can store smaller items.

Brilliant bats

Orange is the most Halloween colour and great for using as decor for a Halloween party.

 This month @ellolovey has hosted a drawing challenge with a different prompt word each day. I haven't been able to take part in every day, but have enjoyed dipping in here and there. Here is a little taster of what I've created.

 

These ghosts are so cute I don't think they would be capable of scaring anyone!

I wanted the bats to be on a patterned ground and the spiderweb design was perfect for that. Can you spot the mini spider here and there?!

Although these pumpkin lanterns are scary, they are also quite fun. I liked the rich colour palette on this illustration and I wanted the pumpkins to be in a variety of shapes and sizes.

These insects are slightly more sophisticated in style and I love the deep purple background.

For the skeleton word prompt I decided to tap into the Mexican style of the Day of the Dead, using skulls in a variety of colours and patterns.

Happy Halloween

 I love the month of October, partly because my birthday falls in October, but also because the seasons start to change. I love the crisp autumnal mornings and the changing colour of the leaves. It also means that Halloween is not far away. This October I'm taking part in the @ellolovey drawing challenge on Instagram. Each day there is a different prompt word and today's word is 'bats', so I decided to design these black bats with spider webs on a variety of background colours. Which colour is your favourite?!
