Green with envy

I just had to mention these fabulous Manolo Blahnik shoes on my blog. I saw them last week in Liberty and I'm still lusting after them. Each one is made from a stunning satin fabric in vibrant shades of yellow and green and is embellished with a diamante buckle. The green version would make the perfect accompaniment to a Cheeky Leopard envelope clutch!

Team it with an embroidered silk bomber jacket and jeans and you're good to go!

A little claim to fame

Sorry, I had to brag a little bit! I went into Liberty on Saturday and saw some of the fabrics there that I designed, including this chicken and egg group which was rather fitting for the Easter period!

I also the saw the Great British Sewing Bee book and they have my stripe fabric on the front. I was rather chuffed! The fabric was shown in the opening credits of the show and is also on their Facebook page!

Liberty sighting

Now that I am in London for a few weeks, I decided to brave the Christmas crowds and battled my way up to Regents Street to make a pilgrimage to Liberty. I love the store and wanted to check out their Christmas shop, but they had two of my fabric groups in their fabric department and I was interested to see them. Needless to say, the shop looked beautiful, decked out in Christmas decorations and with massive gold paper chains swathed across the main atrium. When I saw my designs in their beautiful fabric department I have to say, I felt like a proud mother hen! Here are a few examples of what they were selling.

99 Sales!

I have reached my 99th sale on Etsy, which is not bad for my first year of selling - Jan '11 to Jan '12. As a sign of my appreciation for all the support I've had, I'll be giving away this cute little Liberty print coin purse to my 100th customer!

Liberty Florals

I just completed a wholesale order for a dozen coin purses, which included theses lovely Liberty print florals. They are now winging their way to the States and will end up in a little shop called Bella Mia in Plymouth, Michigan. I feel honoured to sell my bags there!
