Leopard lover

 With a name like Cheeky Leopard, you have to be a bit of a leopard-lover! I designed this print for Makower UK a while ago and have finally made it up into some fab items for my Etsy shop that include a glasses case, coin purse and cosmetic bag.

The leopard glasses case is lightly padded and perfect size for a large pair of sunnies. Alternatively, use it as a phone case.

Leopards come in all shapes and sizes, such as this cosmetic bag and coin purse combo. They are perfect for giving as a gift set.

The leopard coin purse is the perfect size for small change. Alternatively use it as an AirPod case.

The leopard cosmetic bag is lightly padded and has a maroon zipper closure. The lining is a fabulous hot pink colour and adds a flash of colour when the bag is opened.

Look up close and you will see delicate foliage surrounding the leopards. The pink of the foliage matches the pink of the lining fabric.

Use this as a cosmetic bag or alternatively use it as a gadget pouch for storing electric devices and chargers, or use is as a travel bag, handbag organiser or pencil case.

Nautical gift ideas

I recently mentioned a rather fab sailboat fabric that I designed for Makower UK, as part of the Sail Away collection and I now have some rather fabulous sailboat items added to my store. They make the perfect gift for a sailor or sea-lover.

So far I've added a cosmetic bag and glasses case to my store. Each one is lightly padded and has a contrasting red and white cotton polka dot lining to give a flash of colour to the inside.

This cotton pouch is perfect for storing makeup in. It is made from cotton and is machine washable.

It would also be perfect for using as a gadget pouch for storing items such as electronic devices and chargers. It has blue zipper closure to keep items safe.

It could also be used as a travel bag, where important items such as passport and phone can be stored.

The glasses case is lightly padded and big enough to fit large sunglasses in.

It can also be used as a phone case.

Stunning storks

A while ago I mentioned a collection I designed for Makower UK called Kimono which was inspired by the kimonos of Japan and one of the designs I created was a stork design. In Asia, the stork is a symbol of happiness and eternal youth and in Japan it is a mystical or holy creature, symbolising good fortune and longevity.

This design has now been used to create some rather fab items for my Cheeky Leopard store!

It's so lovely being able to create the fabric designs and then use those designs to create items for my store. The storks come in two colours and I've made coin purses and glasses cases in both fabrics. This coin purse is big enough to fit small change, credit cards and earphones.

Storks and cranes are majestic birds and are often used in Asian art and design.

This glasses case makes a great birthday gift for someone special.

In China, cranes represent happiness and a soaring spirit.

The black coin purse is a little more subtle than the red one.

Both the coin purses have a light grey blossom lining.

The glasses case is also perfect for storing phones in. The phone in the picture is an iPhone 6S.
