Marchesa Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear

New York fashion week is still going strong and yesterday Marchesa had its Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear fashion show, held in the old world opulence of the St Regis Hotel. There was a heavy influence of 20s glamour in the fringing and Gatsby-esque hairstyles, and opium-inspired exoticism. This was realised in poppy motifs which bedecked many of the outfits.

All these outfits now need is a Cheeky Leopard clutch bag and I've done a little mix and match to show how well they could work with some of the outfits!

This beautiful long dress is embellished with a host of poppies around the neckline and would make the perfect match with my small obi fabric clutch bag.

Another poppy-embellished dress that pairs nicely with the large obi fabric clutch below.

This stunning silver fringed dress would work so nicely with my grey decorative obi clutch bag.

Pure purple heaven! Pleating and lace, teamed with my purple and gold clutch.

This look is so Gatsby and my metallic silver deco clutch would be a perfect match.

Andrew Gn Fall 2014

Andrew Gn's collection used a fabulously random combination of robot motifs, baroque design and large scale geometrics. Mixed with a vibrant selection of hot pinks and greens on grey wool, it definitely caught my attention!

Dries Van Noten Fall 2014

What a stunner! Dries Van Noten's Fall 2014 collection is right up my street with vibrant purples and yellows mixed with black and grey, using florals and geometrics as dramatic patterns and a clashing of colours that works amazingly well.
