The fashion shows have started for New York Fashion week - Fall 2014 no less! I have homed in on the TSE collection. I love a bit of black, but I have mostly homed in on it for its use of materials - jet black shiny feathers and chunky knits in a deep black colour feel. Tina Lutz, the creative director, was apparently inspired by birds that have died whilst flying into windows! They have been realised by a selection of graduates from Rhode Island School of Design using, amongst other things, a feathered print on a silk dress, and upcycled hand-braided yarn to create beautifully chunky scarves.
