I rather love the work of Karen Jean Young, an artist/textile designer/card designer based in Chicago. Her aesthetic combines unrelated elements together to create something new and for inspiration, she collects ephemera, Japanese textiles, quotes and things found in nature. I especially love her stylised cityscapes, as well as her simple nature studies in pleasing colours. You can see more of her work here.
