My recent trip to the Big Apple was all about seeing friends and catching up, but I managed to find a small amount of time to duck into one of my favourite fabric shops on 7th Avenue in the garment district - B & J Fabrics. There is an amazing selection there, from fine tweeds to ethereal silks, but I focused on the printed cottons and came out with some interesting finds....
