Stitches Show
Just a quickie to say that I went to the Stitches show at the NEC in Birmingham today. I freelance for a fabric company (Makower UK) that has a stand there and went along to give support, but to also check out what other people are doing in the same industry. There were quite a few other fabric companies showing their wares, a lot of which are aimed at the niche market of quilting, but also a melange of other weird and wonderful companies, showing everything from paper dying, stained glassing, paper cutting, as well as many selling all sorts of paper and accessories for scrap booking. There are endless ideas that can be used for this interesting past time and as a designer, I got a lot of inspiration.
