Blue bunting

Bunting is a fun way of decorating the home and I have a great selection of bunting in my Etsy shop. This bunting is made up for lego blocks mixed with a blue and white polka dot fabric.

Each flag is double-sided and made from 100% cotton, so machine washable too. It would make a great decoration for a party, or for a kid's bedroom.

The blocks print is made up of tones of blue with the odd cream block too.

Floral bunting

 I'm really enjoying creating the bunting for my Etsy shop, a new venture for me. I love choosing the combination of fabrics for each one and using a colour palette that compliments each other.

The latest bunting to land in my store is this pretty combo, using a multi colour floral fabric combined with a light teal cotton polka dot fabric and a dark teal cotton polka dot fabric.

The bunting consist of nine flags, three of each fabric, and each flag is double sided. They are held together using a white cotton twill binding and the full length of the bunting is approximately three metres long. There is enough binding at each end to be able to tie it to a post if needed.

This bunting is great for decorating a party or garden event or could be used to decorate the home. Use it in the living area or to decorate a kid's bedroom.

All items are wrapped in pink tissue paper and if they are being bought as a gift, can be sent straight to their recipient with an optional gift message included.

African bunting

I've been busy making bunting recently and I'm loving the outcome. This set of bunting is made from some vibrant African fabrics that I have in my collection. They come in shades of red, orange and black and make a great statement.

Before I started cutting out the bunting shapes I decided to patchwork a variety of fabrics together, which creates a really vibrant array of colour.

I've used a variety of colours and patterns within each flag. And I've varied the scale of each design too.

Batik-style prints sit alongside more geometric prints.

The colours work really well together and come in autumnal shades. This bunting would be great as party decor but could also be used to decorate the home.

Love and peace bunting

 I always like creating new products for my Etsy shop and the latest addition to my repertoire is this cotton bunting! So far I've made this fabulously brightly coloured set using a colour palette of pinks. purples and lime green.

I started with this cute 'love and peace' fabric which I've had in my fabric stash for a while. I've already used it to make several products in my Etsy shop such as glasses cases and cosmetic bags and I love the fun print and the use of bright colours.

There are eight flags altogether in this bunting, four flags use the love and peace fabric, two use a purple criss cross fabric and two use a pink and purple polka dot fabric. The bunting is held together with a durable white cotton twill ribbon and is approximately three metres long in total.

Each flag is double-sided and made from 100% cotton so machine washable too! This would make great decor for a kid's bedroom or as party decoration for a 70s themed celebration.

Each set of eight bunting comes wrapped in pink tissue paper and can be sent straight to its recipient with an optional gift message included.
