Beautiful butterflies

I created this butterfly print a while ago and it's now available in my Spoonflower shop on a variety of different coloured backgrounds.

The black version of this butterfly print shows off the colours of the butterflies beautifully and looks great as a cushion cover.

The pink butterfly version is very vibrant and would look great in a little girl's bedroom.

You can find it on a selection of bedding options in my Spoonflower shop, including this butterfly duvet cover.

The cream version is nice and fresh.

This would look great as a butterfly table cloth. It comes on a variety of shapes and sizes.

And last, but not least, this fabulous turquoise background.

It looks great on napkins.

Doodle bugs

Last week's Soonflower design challenge was 'Doodle Bugs' so I created this loosely-drawn print incorporating, beetles, ladybirds, moths and butterflies.

I can't decide which background colour I prefer....

This print would look great on the wall of a child's bathroom.

It would also look great as a feature wall in a child's bedroom.

Retro bugs

I decided to enter into the latest Spoonflower design challenge which is called 'Retro Bugs'. I've been doodling butterflies, moths, beetles and ladybirds in a 1950s style with a colour palette of lime green, teal and terracotta. It was a lot of fun to design and I'm really happy with the result!

Dragonflies flutter amongst stylised foliage in this soft blue design.

An army of space invader ladybirds in shades of teal, orange and green.

This floral looks lovely and rich on a dark teal ground. It can also be found in my Spoonflower shop in a variety of colour palettes.

Little and large stylised butterflies in a variety of colour combinations.

Juicy jewel tones

I'm regularly adding satin clutch bags to my store and the most recent addition is this pretty turquoise version made from a Chinese satin. It has a butterfly motif on the outside with touches of pink in it and I decided to use the same colour pink for the lining for a flash of colour when the bag is opened. I also added a fab decorative turquoise tassel to the zipper pull.

This bag is perfect for a night out and is big enough to fit purse, phone, keys and sunglasses.

This could also be used as a handbag organiser, gadget pouch or makeup bag.

This clutch looks great with the hot pink version with the same butterfly motif.

Each Cheeky Leopard item is gift wrapped in pink tissue paper and can be sent as a gift straight to its recipient with a personal gift message included.

Satin clutch bags

Check out these stunningly juicy jewel toned clutch bags! Each one is made from a vibrant Chinese satin fabric and perfect for a night out or a special wedding. Alternatively use it to store makeup or jewellery in.

Each bag comes with a bright pink lining which enhances the outer fabric. This green clutch has a butterfly motif.

I love the yellow version with dragonflies.

Use it as a makeup bag or jewellery purse.

The three colours look so fabulous together and could be used as bridesmaid clutches.

The hot pink version also has a butterfly motif. It's perfect for storing the essentials for a night out.

Flutterbies

The sun is out, the air is warm and I couldn't resist making this Florence clasp bag today, made from a summery print of fluttering butterflies. I love the bright colours and funky images and thought it went very well with my sweet little Lila coin purse, made out of ladybugs. You can find it on my Etsy store. Roll on summer.....
