London Design Festival
It's great being back in the UK and seeing everything with fresh eyes. The London Design Festival has been on and there is so much to see and do. I have just caught the end of it and decided to head to the Tent and Origin shows in east London to see what was going on. The whole area was buzzing and there was so much to see. Tent is a show that attracts vendors selling contemporary and vintage design, architecture and interiors, and is held in the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. There was a very eclectic mix of items to see and so many inspiring pieces. The Origin show is a craft fair, showcasing an amazing selection from over 200 designers, selling anything from ceramics and furniture, to jewelry and scarves. I was surprised at how many Japanese artists were showing their work there.
