100% Design

London Design Week is on and there have been so many interesting design events to see. Sadly I'm not able to make it to all of them, which is making me slightly hysterical, but I did make it to 100% Design on Saturday at Earl's Court. It was great to see so many inspiring items under one roof, from tables and chairs to kitchen fittings and flooring options - an interior designers heaven! There was a lively atmosphere and even a DJ booth in the centre of the exhibition hall where you could chill out and have a drink whilst listening to some funky tunes.

Naomi Paul creates beautiful lighting and interior textiles developed through highly skilled craftsmanship. These lights are made from crocheted cotton. I love the old school craft technique combined with a modern design aesthetic.

Banton Frameworks started with a curiosity for individual eyewear. They focus on using natural materials to make something truly unique. These fab sunglasses are made from wood.

I couldn't resist taking a photo of these multi coloured urinals.

Anne Kyyro Quinn's beautiful 3D textile structures are handmade using sustainable wool felt. They can be applied to interior textiles including bedheads, upholstery and acoustic panels.

There was quite a variety of styles at the show.
I love both theses chairs that are so different to each other.

These coat hangers by Faerid are too nice to be hidden in a wardrobe. They can also be used as display pieces or as hangers for items like scarves or shawls.

These are sculptural treasure boxes that come in a variety of shapes and colours. They are by design duo Korridor Design who are based in Denmark.
