New York fashion week is in full swing and there have already been some interesting collections. I always gravitate towards the more colorful ones, even though I nearly always wear black! Hence the Narciso Roriguez show was a winner, where he combined solid black outfits with vibrantly colored ones. I loved his all black trouser outfit with a slash of asymmetrrical white thrown in. The fitted yet slouchy trousers work well with the chunky heel and the square-shouldered jacket is beautifully cut. I also love the choice of hot plums and spicey mustard colours used in some of his dresses, or bravely combined in a trouser/jacket combination.
