Mildred Pierce

I have just finished watching the box set of the mini series Mildred Pierce and had to share it. It is rather topical as Kate Winslet just won a Golden Globe for her performance in it. It is beautifully filmed, beautifully styled and could be the new replacement for Mad Men as a stylish period piece, with slow, moody drama that pulls you in.
